- Account data: Name, email address, password, and billing information
- Vehicle data: VIN, license plate number, make/model/year, and odometer readings
- Location data: GPS coordinates of your vehicles in real time and historically
- Diagnostic data: OBD-II sensor readings, diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs), and engine parameters
- Driving behavior: Speed, harsh braking/acceleration events, trip routes, and trip durations
- Usage data: App interaction, feature usage, and device connection information
- Payment data: Processed by Stripe — we do not store credit card numbers
2. How We Use Your Data
- Provide the service: Real-time tracking, diagnostics, alerts, and AI insights
- Improve the service: Aggregate analytics and AI model training using anonymized data
- Billing: Process payments via Stripe
- Communication: Service alerts, account notifications, and support correspondence
- Safety alerts: Speed notifications, geofence alerts, and vehicle health warnings
3. Data Sharing
We share data with the following third-party providers only as necessary to deliver the service:
- Stripe: Payment processing
- Mapbox: Map rendering (location data sent for map display)
- Twilio: SMS alert delivery (phone numbers)
- Teltonika: Device firmware updates (device identifiers only)
We do not sell your personal data or vehicle data to third parties.
We may disclose data if required by law, court order, or legal process.
4. Data Retention
- Account data: Retained while your account is active, plus 30 days after deletion request
- Location/trip data: Retained per your subscription plan (30 days to unlimited history)
- Diagnostic data: Retained for the life of your subscription
- After account deletion: All data is permanently deleted within 90 days
5. Your Rights
You have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Access: Request a copy of your data
- Deletion: Request account and data deletion
- Correction: Update inaccurate information
- Export: Download your data in a standard format

6. Monitoring Minors
Frontrac Familia may be used by parents or legal guardians to monitor the driving behavior and vehicle location of minor family members. This data is accessible only to the account holder.
We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 without parental consent. If you believe we have inadvertently collected data from a child under 13, please contact us immediately.
7. Security
We use encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest to protect your data. Access to personal data is restricted to authorized personnel only. We maintain industry-standard security practices and regularly review our security measures.
8. Cookies
The Frontrac Familia web application uses essential cookies for authentication and session management only. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or tracking cookies.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the email address associated with your account. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
